How do students start COOL Check?

If the student is using a Chromebook:

Ensure that the student is completely logged out first.

At the bottom left on the startup screen, before the student logs in, next to the power button, there is the "Apps" button.

Next, the student will see 'Cool Check'.

When the student clicks on COOL Check, they will have the option to log in with a Google account or a Microsoft account.

The student can now proceed to log in with their Google or Microsoft account, after which they will be in the secure environment of Cool Check.

If the student is using a Windows device:

Make sure the user is logged out and select the user 'COOL Check' at the login screen.

It might happen that the Cool Check button is not visible; in that case, choose 'Other user.' To access COOL Check, the student should log in by typing the following text in the 'Username' field: '.\COOL-Check'.

Here, the student can proceed without entering a password. Once logged in with the COOL Check user, they will have the option to log in with a Google account or a Microsoft account.

The student can now continue to log in with their Google or Microsoft account, and afterward, they will be in the secure environment of Cool Check.
